November School Holidays: Students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh can enjoy a few holidays in November 2025. These holidays are a mix of festivals, local events, and also for elections. Here is a complete list of confirmed holidays for schools in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

November 5th, 2025:
November holidays are going to begin with a National holiday on November 5th (Wednesday) for Guru Nanak Jayanti. On the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birth anniversary, schools and government offices across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will remain closed.

November 11th, 2025:
The next holiday is going to be on November 11th (Tuesday). On November 11th, schools which are situated in the Jubilee Hills constituency are going to be closed for the Jubilee Hills by-elections. This order is passed only for the schools that are situated in the constituency premises.

November 14th, 2025:
Following that, November 14 (Friday) is a National holiday on the occasion of Children’s Day. Children’s Day is celebrated in the memory of India’s First Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Even though the holiday is not mandatory for the schools but most of the schools declare it as a holiday and celebrate in memory of Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. During this day, in most schools, children celebrate this with some cultural and fun events.

November 24th, 2025:
At the end of the month, on November 24 (Monday), it is declared a holiday on the occasion of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s Martyrdom Day, which is a restricted holiday. This is not a government or public holiday, but schools and offices can choose to give a holiday. It is said that employees and offices can choose to take the day as a holiday depending on their respective policies.
