McDonald’s Global Capability Centre(GCC) is finally here?

Hyderabad: American fast food giant McDonald’s opened its first India Global Capability Centre office in Hyderabad. It is located in Hitec City with a capacity to accommodate around 1500 employees. The office is spread over an area over 1.56 lakh sq.ft across four floors. 


Office for global teams

This permanent site will serve as a global hub for innovation and enterprise operations. This office will host global teams working in Human Resources, Data enterprise and analytics, technology, and finance along with some other departments.


Bhatti Vikramarka take on this event

Inaugurating the centre, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that McDonald’s decision to establish their Global centre here in Hyderabad is a symbol of trust in governance and confidence in Telangana’s talent. 

He further went on to say that the way McDonald’s began in 1940’s representing not just the food but also the idea of scale, vision and connecting the world, then it emerged as a symbol of innovation and operational excellence. Hyderabad too has undergone a transformation from being a historic city of minarets and lakes to global hub to Tech industries and creative industries.

McDonald’s vision aligns with Hyderabad

Bhatti Vikramarka said that McDonald’s vision of redefined supply chains, sustainability, and digital experiences is very similar to Hyderabad too is redefining itself as a city where Technology and Humanity go Hand in Hand. “These GCC’s are a reflection of trust in our talent, faith in our governance and confidence in our shared future, they are not just some offices but they are nerves in the process of global innovation” 

“This new office is not just another skyline in Hyderabad, it is a symbol of India’s confidence, Telangana’s talent and the power of collaboration between global enterprise and local capability”    

McDonald’s House Programme

Recently in Mumbai McDonald’s opened a Ronald McDonald House programme, it is in plans to set up the same in Hyderabad soon and its main goal is to provide essential resources and support for families of children who are ill or critically injured. In India alone this programme supported 35,000 families so far.
