Honey Rose Movie Rachel: After an incredible journey of 20 years in the film industry, actress Honey Rose is now starting a very unique character in her career called Rachel. The producers of the film made the announcement of release on Wednesday, December 6, for Christmas, and to be released in theatres in 5 languages, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
Directed by debutant Anandini Bala, Rachel promises to be an intense cinematic experience filled with violence and emotion as well as suspicion. The noted Abrid Shine, a filmmaker from Malayalam with a reputation for realistic storytelling and strong characters, co-writes and co-produces the film.
Posters of the movie making Honey Rose appear in quite the striking new avatar stirred a huge social media buzz, while the teaser got a huge positive reception. Buzz going around in the industry claims Rachel is a psycho-revenge thriller marking a very strong transformation for this actress.
The film contains a marvelous supporting cast including Baburaj, Chandu Salimkumar, Roshan Basheer, Radhika Radhakrishnan, Jaffer Idukki, Vineeth Thattill, Joji K John, Dinesh Prabhakar, Pauly Valsan, and Vanditha Manoharan, amongst many others.
Badusha’s Silver Screen Entertainment is produced by Manju Badusha, Shahul Hameed, and Rajan Chirayil, with the story by Rahul Manappat, whose award-winning short story Iratchikombu (which won the Mathrubhumi Story Contest) serves as the basis on which the screenplay co-written with Abrid Shine rests with a bunch of heavyweights.
Rachel boasts an array of renowned technicians in the crew, namely, Ishan Chhabra (music and background score), Swarup Philip (cinematography), Manoj (editing), and Sujith Raghav (production design). Shree Shankar designing the sound gives depth to the atmosphere of the film, and mixing by Rajakrishnan M.R. takes it further. Distributed by Badusha’s Silver Screen Entertainment through Sree Priya Combines, Rachel is set to be one of the year’s fiercest thrillers.
