Vrusshabha New Release Date : The last-minute alteration to the release date of the much-anticipated multilingual fantasy drama Vrusshabha, featuring Mohanlal, has been once more rescheduled. Now it is pushed to Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, after initially getting released first on the day of 25 October 2025, shifted then to November 6.
The announcement about the change of date was duly made by the makers via social media,
“In a few stories, cinema pales into insignificance; there are stories that become legacies. Celebrate this legacy with us this Christmas with #Vrusshabha. A film celebrating emotion, grandeur, and destiny. Worldwide release on December 25, 2025.”
The grand announcement has sparked a swirl of reactions from fans who had long been awaiting his powerful yet fantasy depiction; an actor whom they had loved and cherished for in recent memory.
While no particular reason behind the postponements has been spelt out by the team, reports suggest that post-production, particularly VFX work, is taking longer than expected. Since Vrusshabha has promised to be high on visual appeal, the makers would want to ensure every shot passes international quality check before going for the release.
Also, the makers are apparently targeting the Christmas festive window, which usually attracts a huge family audience to theatres.
