Haq 3 Days Box Office Struggles: Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s new social drama Haq has opened its account at the box office over the weekend. The film focuses on something inspired by real life, a story of justice and accountability, and has received praise for the intense performances it offers and for its bold storytelling. Even though it is more of a content-driven film and lacks in terms of commercial elements, it worked wonders with strong word-of-mouth and emotional depth.
Haq opened decently on Day 1 (Friday), raking in ₹1.75 crore, mainly dependent on metro audiences and multiplex footfalls.
The figures-totally roared to life in Day 2 (Saturday)-with an upsurge to ₹3.35 crore, automatically marking a jump of 91.43%.
Along with Day 3, showing an increased collection of approximately ₹3.75 crores on the early estimates mark today, the total three-day India net collection is thus brought to ₹8.85 crores.
This keeps up with the trend of the upward trend that would further suggest robust audience engagement and positive reviews for the performance of Yami Gautam and the message-driven narrative of the movie.
According to the trade reports, it is made on a moderate budget of around ₹25-30 crore, including production and marketing. Haq would gain a worldwide gross of around ₹32-35 crore to break even.
Haq has covered almost one-third of its investment already during the opening weekend because of the current trend.
