Lokesh Kanagaraj officially announced the 10-minute short film detailing the origins of the LCU Lokesh Cinematic Universe .The upcoming short film promises to reveal the origins and foundation of Lokesh Cinematic Universe.
Lokesh Kanagaraj took to his official Twitter account – X account and made an annoncement . He wrote,” A teaching exercise that led to a ‘10 minute Prelude to the Origins of LCU’. #ChapterZeroFL unlock, @GSquadOffl, @cinemapayyan, @LevelUp_edu, @anirudhofficial, @anbariv, @selvakumarskdop, @philoedit, @ArtSathees, @PraveenRaja_Off, @proyuvraaj,” and shared a new official poster of the short film.

The upcoming action thriller starring Raghava Lawrence is reportedly part of Lokesh’s Cinematic Universe (LCU) franchise films. The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan based on story and script by Lokesh.

Lokesh’s much anticipated action film, Coolie starring Super Star Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna ,Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan , Sathyaraj and Upendra is expected to go into production in April 2024. Sivakarthikeyan is reportedly playing a key role in the film. Coolie is scheduled to release worldwide in 2025 in standard and IMAX formats.
The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj.
Standalone film on Rolex
Recently he announced Rolex standalone film featuring Suriya’s character Rolex, who was introduced in Vikram. The film is expected to go on the floors next year.
