Jackie Chan Death Hoax: Jackie Chan, the one and only worldwide action star, is once again popular for an online death hoax, which, however, does not do justice to this superstar since he is actually safe and healthy. It is, however, sad that this hoax is going viral, stating that the entire Rush Hour and Police Story film franchises are dead at 71 years. This rumour reverberated over different forms of social media platforms creating shockwaves of concern to millions of his fans across the globe.
The confusion arose when a photo of Jackie Chan lying on a hospital bed hit the media with captions reading that the favourite actor had died. The caption states: “Today we lost the world’s most loved personality and Kung Fu legend, Jackie Chan.” Some of the users, however, claimed that his family verified the death but studied that claim which proved pure hoax.
Besides, once those misleading posts hit the shores of the major social networks: Facebook and X (Twitter), messages of confusion, incredulity and fury washed over the site. Believers rushed to debunk the rumour, pointing at the fact that no credible news agency was reporting Chan’s death.
The actor is still very busy making movies, finally proving all such rumors wrong. Jackie Chan continues working on different projects including New Police Story 2, Project P, and Five Against a Bullet. Fans can rest easy, the legendary action star is very much alive and well and is doing what he loves most – entertaining the world.
