Sonu Sood’s film debuted box office with mere collections of Rs.2 crore. Fateh held its own at the box office against the formidable Telugu film Game Changer. Starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. Game Changer’s Hindi version earned ₹7 crore on its opening day, while its total earnings across five languages reached ₹51.25 crore. Despite this tough competition, Fateh’s box office collection is expected to rise on Saturday, benefiting from the weekend.

But Fateh had fewer collections because of the ticket prices. Sonu Sood known for his kind heart, debuted his film to theatres with the lowest ticket prices for just Rs 99. But the ticket prices will turn back to normal from its second day. So Fateh collections are expected to rise in the coming weekend.

In a previous interview, the actor-turned-director candidly spoke about the film. Sonu Sood said, “In 2020, when we were hit by Covid, many people who reached out to me for help were victims of cybercrime. They were dealing with fraud, and money was drained from their accounts. This deeply resonated with me, and I wanted to tell the story of the common man.” He went on to add “Fateh is a film made for the common man. And I wanted it to reach everyone in the most accessible way across India. That’s why we’ve decided to price tickets at just ₹99 for the first day. Additionally, I will be donating the entire profit from the film to charity as my way of giving back to people.”
