Our darling Prabhas is also one of them. His childhood, education, and early life have many surprising details that fans don’t know.
Prabhas was born on October 23, 1979, in Chennai. His full name is Uppalapati Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju. He comes from a complete film family. His father was a well-known producer, and his uncle Krishnam Raju was a legendary actor. Even though he grew up in a film environment, Prabhas never ignored his studies.
Prabhas did his schooling at DNR School in Bhimavaram. Later, he moved to Hyderabad for intermediate studies and joined Nalanda College. Many fans don’t know this – Prabhas actually completed B.Tech from Sri Chaitanya College in Hyderabad.
After engineering, he followed his true passion—acting. He joined the Satyanand Film Institute in Vizag. There he learned acting techniques, body language, expressions, and camera performance. Only after proper training did he enter the film industry.
Prabhas once shared a sweet secret from his school days. When he was studying at Don Bosco School in Chennai, he had a crush on one of his teachers who taught all subjects. He revealed this in an interview with Manchu Lakshmi, surprising many fans. He said she was his “first ever crush.”
Prabhas began his movie journey with “Eeshwar” in 2002. Soon, he gained popularity with hits like “Varsham” and “Chatrapathi.” Movies like Darling and Mr. Perfect made him a favourite among family audiences.
The Baahubali series changed his life forever. “Baahubali: The Beginning” and “Baahubali: The Conclusion” made him an international star. Later, he acted in Adipurush, Salaar, and the recent Kalki 2898 AD, where his roles as Bhairava and Karna impressed everyone.
Prabhas is now busy with big pan-India films like Salaar Part 2, Spirit, The Raja Saheb, and Fauji. Fans are eagerly waiting for these releases.
