The wedding was originally scheduled for November 23 and was expected to be a close-knit celebration. Guests from different parts of the country had already started arriving in Sangli. Some members of the Indian women’s cricket team were also present to support Smriti on her special day. Over the past few days, pre-wedding celebrations and joyful moments had created a lot of excitement on social media.

Despite the happy mood earlier, the sudden health scare shifted the family’s focus entirely to Srinivas Mandhana’s recovery. Smriti and her family are currently staying at the hospital and personally monitoring his treatment.
