Vilayath Buddha Box Office Collection: Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran as the main character, Vilayath Buddha is enjoying great reviews throughout cinemas and soon becoming a popular subject for Malayalam filmgoers. Under the Urvasi Theatres flag by Sandeep Sennan and helmed by Jayan Nambiar, this U/A-certified movie is created.
Early audiences have embraced social media accolades for the film’s intense narrative and great performances. Trade analysts such as Sacnilk claim that box office results point to a great run for the movie, which has brought in ₹3.2 crore overall, including a remarkable ₹75 lakh on Sunday alone.
Prithviraj’s incredible metamorphosis into Double Mohanan—an avatar never encountered throughout his career—become among the most major highlights. Throughout the movie, his strong screen presence and regulated performance act as anchors. Shammi Thilakan also does a very remarkable performance, bringing depth to Prithviraj’s energy. As seen by internet viewers, Jakes Bejoy’s music adds yet another level of ambiance and tension hence transforming into one of the most remarkable features of the film.
The movie tells its story against the mist-laden backdrop of the well-known sandalwood forests of Marayoor, which is described in G.R. Indugopan’s book of the same name as “gold-bearing trees” in Kerala. Driven by ideas like vengeance, avarice, and complicated human emotions, the movie is a forest-bound thriller. Priyamvada Krishnan is the principal female actress; Anu Mohan, Rajashri Nair, T.J. Arunachalam, among others, help to support.
Following successful hits including Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Saudi Vellakka, and Sathyam Paranjaal Vishwasikkuvo, the film is yet another of the notable initiatives carried under the Urvasi Theater banner. Although editor Sreejith Sarang and production designer Banglan add much to the film’s evocative tone, cinematographers Aravind Kashyap and Renadive have visually stunning shots.
Vilayath Buddha thus emerges among the best sound releases in Malayalam cinema this year thanks to its rich background, layered plot, and great performances.
