Mass Jathara OTT: Hero Ravi Teja has been doing films regularly, but none of them have become major hits recently. Earlier this month, he came to the audience with the movie Mass Jatara, but it did not perform well. After the success of Dhamaka, Srileela was cast as the heroine again, but their combination didn’t work this time. The movie had only a marginal run in theatres and is now ready for its OTT release. An official announcement has been made.

Mass Jatara, starring Ravi Teja and Srileela, was made with full commercial elements. However, the content was limited, and the movie became a flop from day one. Still, since no other mass movie was in theatres at the time, some viewers watched it out of curiosity. Netflix had already purchased the digital rights before release and planned to stream it four weeks after its theatrical debut. Now, Mass Jatara will start streaming on Netflix from Friday, November 28. This has been officially confirmed.

About Mass Jathara: 

In the film, Laxman Bheri (Ravi Teja) is an honest railway policeman. While working in Warangal, he beats up a minister’s son, which leads to his transfer to the Adivivaram railway station in Alluri district. In the nearby tribal hills, Shiva (Naveen Chandra) controls the entire area. He grows a special ganja variety called Sheelavathi with local farmers and smuggles it to Kolkata.

As soon as Laxman enters the village, he begins to clash with Shiva. How does an ordinary railway SI take on Shiva, who has the full support of the political system, including the district SP? How does he bring down Shiva’s ganja empire? The rest of the story also shows the roles of Tulsi (Srileela) and Hanuman (Rajendra Prasad).
