The man bought a shampoo bottle for ₹465. Along with it, he purchased 465 sachets of the same brand, each costing ₹1. His idea was simple. Since both cost the same amount, he expected the total quantity to be almost equal. But when he measured the amounts, the results shocked everyone.

He poured the entire bottle into a container and found that it weighed 522 grams. Then he collected shampoo from all the sachets into another container. The weight of the sachets’ shampoo came to 828 grams. This means the sachets offered almost 300 grams more product for the same price. This difference surprised netizens, and many people began repeating the test at home.

After the video went viral, several users shared their own comparisons. Many claimed that smaller packets give better value than bottled shampoo. To understand the truth, the packaging and price details of different sizes were studied. The numbers revealed interesting facts.

A ₹1 pouch usually contains 3 ml of shampoo. When you compare different packs, the price per millilitre becomes clear:

₹3 pack → 50 ml
₹80 pack → 95 ml
₹133 pack → 190 ml
₹297 bottle → 625 ml

Based on this, sachets give more quantity for the same money when compared to a bottle. For example, buying 297 sachets for ₹297 gives 891 ml of shampoo. But a bottle costing ₹297 contains only 625 ml.

So, which is more profitable?
