A Hyderabad entrepreneur made a shocking career change recently. Rajive Dhavn sold his successful Rs15 crore company entirely. He decided to begin again as a content creator. This surprising move happened when he was thirty-nine years old. He built his business from a small Rs40,000 loan. His journey defies all traditional success stories completely.
Rajive describes his story as messy and unusual. He posted his journey openly on Instagram. He stated this is not a typical success narrative. His path involved many twists and turns. It shows courage to restart life completely.
Rajive started working as a young child. He sold sauces to local bakeries for income. His first formal job was at a retail store. He cleaned racks and folded shirts there. He later secured a corporate role at GE. Rajive felt incredibly proud of his first salary. Tragedy struck the very next day unfortunately. He lost his mother when he was only eighteen.
He worked several years at large multinational companies. This included a significant role at HSBC. He left this stable corporate career eventually. He pursued his dream of becoming a writer. Rajive started “What’s In a Name” in Hyderabad. He began this venture with a ₹40,000 loan only. He built it into an award-winning brand successfully.
Rajive had the opportunity to work with over 100 brands and received numerous awards for his work through his business, which reached a value of Rs15 crores, reflecting Rajive’s impressive entrepreneurial success. Most people would continue to expand this type of enterprise; however, for Rajive, he was going to do something quite different.
Recently, Rajive sold all of his businesses, not because he had failed; rather, Rajive sold his companies to provide funding for a future project, so that he could restart his life’s journey. A content creator is now Rajive’s next step; therefore, this drastic change surprised many people.
On Instagram, there has been an overwhelming response praising Rajive for the path he chose to take. For example, one said Rajive’s journey is very inspiring; another stated Rajive was very brave for making this decision.
A comment about Rajive’s creativity and hard work received numerous likes and shares. One person said they knew Rajive on a personal level for being very resilient with all that he has been through and many people encouraged Rajive by sending words of support.
Rajive originally failed in grade eight, and he did not complete his education until after tenth grade. He earned his degree from St. Mary’s College in the end, which shows his determination to continually educate himself throughout his life.
Rajive’s full concentration is now on creating content. He builds a new career from zero. His story challenges conventional success definitions. It inspires people to pursue their passions. Age does not limit new beginnings ever.
