Kalamkaval Cast Remuneration: Mammootty’s latest release, the crime-thriller Kalamkaval, has not only aroused people’s interest through intense storytelling but also by balancing the scale of production. The film is made at a budget of ₹20–25 crore, which is classified as a mid-budget production, and it invests quite a big chunk of the cost on an intense cast—especially on the megastar himself. The veteran star occupies the top slot in remuneration charts as both the lead actor and producer under his amorphous Mammootty Kampany brand. Playing Shankar Das, he reportedly takes home the largest share through a package deal combining acting salary, production profit share, and backend earnings.

As Amritha, Rajisha is at the centre of quite an emotional pugilism in the film and receives a mid-tier remuneration consistent with Malayalam cinema norms.
4. Gayatri Arun – ₹40–75 lakh
She is famous for her roles in television and film and gets reasonable compensation in the mid-range bracket for what she delivers as Shiny.
5. Shruti Ramachandran – ₹40–75 lakh
Shruti, too, is in a similar remuneration bracket as Deepa, as she is steadily gaining prominence in Malayalam thrillers.

Gibin Gopinath and Azees Nedumangad, for example, fall into the typical standard bracket for larger supporting roles.
An iconic status plus the added role of a producer has naturally absorbed a large share of this ₹20–25 crore budget in Mammootty’s package.
