The Most Searched Indian Movies of 2025

Most Searched Indian Movies of 2025: The list has been released by Google for Most Searched Indian Movies of 2025, which is an insight into what people have been searching for across languages and genres. The list reveals popular movies not for their box-office success but also against what cultural conversations and online buzz each of these films generated during the year.

Bollywood Takes the Top Slots

First is the Bollywood mega-budget entertainer “Saiyaara”, which experienced phenomenal search volume due to its star-studded cast and huge theatrical release. The creative promotional campaigns and social networking stunts kept a continued trend in this movie for months.

The second position was taken by “Kantara 2”, the legacy of its predecessor continued with a lot of promise among its viewers in India. Its proximity to folklore and a unique narrative style made it one of the highly talked-about subjects on the internet.

The all-time third position goes to the commercial action drama “Coolie”, which made the audience inquisitive by its masala power and much high-energy promotional content.

A Robust Cocktail of Regional and Pan-Indian Titles

The others include much-awaited titles on the top search rankings like “War 2”, “Sanam Teri Kasam 2”, and “Housefull 5”; the three actually could trend online through their not-so-huge but certainly established fan bases and heavy anticipation for the releases.

“Marco” became the only Malayalam film to enter the top 10 and came in sixth according to the Google rankings. The film was released across five languages, and the action-packed film was known for its wide release and high reputation in theatres and OTT.

Game Changer, Mrs., and Mahavatar Narasimha are a complete mix of genres-from political thrillers to mythological dramas.

A Year of Diversity and Endless Curiosity

Most Searched Movies of 2025 prove that it is the year that has been dominated with pan-Indian releases, influence from strong regional cinema, and a big audience curiosity ranging from action, mythological epics, comedies, and thrillers.
