Fans were alarmed by the footage, which was shot during the Kannur event, and wondered what had become of the actor. The actor is seen in the video walking cautiously while wearing a bandage on his leg. He had come to Kannur to attend the opening of a jewelry store.

Fans started inquiring about the actor’s health and the type of damage he sustained as the video gained popularity online. Kunchacko Boban may have hurt his leg while playing badminton, according to reports.

The actor last appeared in the cinema in the 2025 film “Officer on Duty,” which was written by Shahi Kabir and directed by Jithu Ashraf in his feature film debut. The movie had good reviews, and Kunchacko Boban’s performance won him a lot of praise. In supporting parts, Priyamani, Vishak Nair, and Jagadish are also part of the cast.

His next film is “Patriot,” which is helmed by Mahesh Narayanan and stars Mohanlal and Mammootty.

In the meantime, the actor gave an update on one of his next projects, which is the directorial debut of editor Kiran Das, winner of the Kerala State Award. The movie is tentatively called Panorama Studios Production No. 3. Shahi Kabir, who is best known for Nayattu, wrote the screenplay for the movie.
