Akhanda 2 Release Changes December Movie Plans

Akhanda 2 Release:

The Telugu film industry is getting ready for a major box office battle as Akhanda 2 is set to release worldwide on December 12, 2025. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role and is directed by Boyapati Srinu. The movie is being produced by 14 Reels Plus Entertainments. Special premiere shows are also planned for December 11, one day before the official release.

Akhanda 2 Release:

Originally, Akhanda 2 was planned for release on December 5, but it was postponed at the last moment due to financial issues faced by the production company. After getting legal clearance, the makers officially announced the new release date through social media. With this update, December 12 has now become one of the biggest release days of the year.

Before the announcement of Akhanda 2, several small and mid-budget films had already locked December 12 for their releases. Movies like Mowgli, Psych Siddharth, Annagaru Vastaaru, and Eesha were all preparing for release on that day. However, after the confirmation of Akhanda 2, many of these films decided to change their releases dates to avoid direct competition.

As of now, only Akhanda 2 and Annagaru Vastaaru are releasing on December 12. The movie Annagaru Vastaaru, starring Kollywood hero Karthi, was earlier scheduled for the first week of December but was postponed to avoid a clash with Akhanda. The makers have now decided not to delay it further.

Meanwhile, Roshan Kanakala’s Mowgli has been pushed to December 13, just one day later than planned. The film Psych Siddharth, starring Sri Nandu, has now been postponed to January 1, 2026. The horror thriller Eesha, featuring Hebah Patel in an important role, will now release in the last week of December, most likely on December 25.

With all these changes, it is clear that Akhanda 2 has completely reshaped the December release calendar. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how the powerful sequel performs at the box office.
