Fans of actor Pradeep Ranganathan will have to wait a little longer to watch his upcoming film Love Insurance Kompany. The movie was earlier planned to release in December 2025. However, the makers have now decided to move the film to early 2026. As per trade sources, the new release is expected around Valentine’s Day in February 2026.

Love Insurance Kompany Postponed:

Love Insurance Kompany is a romantic science-fiction film directed by Vignesh Shivan. The movie was first scheduled to hit theatres on December 18, 2025. Later, the team thought of sticking to the same date even without completing an OTT deal. But now, the plan has changed again. According to film trade expert Amutha Bharathi, the makers are looking at February 12 or 13, 2026, as the new release window.

One of the main reasons for this delay is the box office clash with Avatar: Fire and Ash, directed by James Cameron. That big-budget Hollywood film is set to release worldwide on December 19, 2025. Since it is a highly awaited global movie, the makers of Love Insurance Kompany felt it would affect their film’s collections. To avoid this risk, they decided to postpone the release.

The February slot is considered perfect for a love story, especially near Valentine’s Day. The team believes this period will help the film reach more young audiences and couples, giving it better box office results.

In the film, Pradeep Ranganathan plays the role of a young man who wants to travel back in time for his love. The female lead is played by Krithi Shetty. Actor SJ Suryah plays an important negative role. The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, Seeman, Shah Ra, Mysskin, Anandaraj, and Sunil Reddy.

The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who has also given his voice for a special character in the movie. The project is produced by Rowdy Pictures and Seven Screen Studio.

Fans are now hoping that the movie will finally arrive in February 2026 without any more delays.
