R Madhavan Opens Up About His Career’s Scariest Moments. R Madhavan, who made his debut in the world of OTT, is making the headlines for his recent film ‘Hisab Barabar’. The film made its grand digital debut on Zee cinema today 24th January 2025. Recently The Shaitaan actor mentioned the two scariest moments of his career. For any star, the first day of shooting and promotion of his film might be exciting. But, this is not the case for the 3 Idiots actor Madhavan. He has played different types of roles in films and says that the first day of shooting is challenging for him. Apart from this, he revealed some more scary moments of his career.

Madhavan has been among the stars who first debuted on OTT. Maddy made his debut in the OTT world in the year 2018 with Amazon Prime Video’s web series ‘Breathe’. Recently, while talking about the important moments of his career with the Indian Express, R. Madhavan said that the first day on the set is challenging for him, where he feels a lot of pressure. Similarly, the first day of promotion is also there.

When R. Madhavan was asked if the OTT platform has given him relief from the expectations of the box office business of films. The actor agreed and immediately said, ‘The two scariest moments for me in my career are when it is my first day of shooting. It gradually becomes difficult. And secondly, the first day of promotion and release, because everyone looks at you and I feel that everyone is saying, ‘Hey, you have gone mad, enough, game over’.


Speaking on the creative opportunities offered by OTT platforms, Madhavan said that his projects on OTT have been very popular with the audience. Some stories have benefited from the long format of multiple episodes. He gave the example of ‘Hisab Barabar’ and said that its story and characters are very attractive, but it does not have the grandeur required to be released in theatres.
