Housefull 5: Actor Akshay Kumar shocked the streets of Mumbai when he went undercover to gather candid audience opinions on his recently released movie Housefull 5. In a video he posted on Instagram, he wears a “killer” mask and holds a microphone while speaking with moviegoers outside a Bandra theater.

Akshay Kumar debuted Housefull 5 in theatres on June 6 and decided to get first-hand reactions in the quirkiest way possible. In a video he shared, Akshay, wearing a mask, asked moviegoers exiting the theatre how they felt about the film. Some fans called the movie enjoyable and completely captivating, while one fan even described it as “sexy.”

Along with the video, Akshay playfully mentioned that he had to run away before anyone recognized him. He wrote in the caption, “Bas yun hi, I decided to put on the killer mask and interview people leaving the Housefull 5 show at Bandra today. Though I ran off before they caught me, I was almost busted at the end. Mast experience, if you will.”

Housefull 5 delivered an impressive performance at the domestic box office. According to media reports, the film earned around ₹24 crore on its opening day and followed it up with ₹30 crore on Day 2, crossing the ₹50-crore mark within just two days. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandez, and others.
