Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who is awaiting the release of his upcoming film ‘Sky Force’, says he always loves films that are based on true stories. On Thursday, the actor took to his Instagram and shared a picture of himself in his character in ‘Sky Force’, which is based on a true story. In the picture, he is seen in full glory as a respected Air Force officer.

Today on 23rd January 2025, Akshay Kumar took his Instagram handle. And shared a heartfelt note ahead of his film’s release. Akshay shared a picture of himself in an airforce officer’s uniform and wrote. “I have been a part of over 150 films, but the words ‘based on a true story’ have a different power. And above all, stepping into the uniform of an Air Force officer is nothing short of incredible,” he wrote in the caption. ‘Sky Force’ is an untold story of honour, courage and patriotism that must be shared. Watch it in cinemas from tomorrow,” he added. The film Sky Force is all set to hit theatres on 24th January 2025 coinciding with Republic Day.

Salman Khan’s Issue

Earlier, Akshay had supported his contemporary Salman Khan when reports came in that Akshay had left the sets of ‘Bigg Boss 18’ without shooting as Salman reportedly did not turn up for the shoot on time. The actor issued a clarification on the matter.


Akshay said that he already had some commitments that he had to fulfil, due to which he had to leave the set. Akshay also shared that he had spoken to Salman before leaving, to make sure everything was fine between them. He told the media in Delhi, “I was getting late for some work. I spoke to Salman and he was stuck with some personal work. He told me that he would be around 40 minutes late. But I had to leave as I already committed. I had to leave. However, we talked about it”. Meanwhile, ‘Sky Force’ is set to release on January 24.
