Dharmendra: Due to age-related health problems, Dharmendra passed away in Mumbai on Monday, November 24, 2025. After displaying indications of progress, the seasoned actor was released from Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai two weeks after being treated during the first week of November. He was reportedly put on a ventilator after experiencing breathing difficulties when he was recovering at his Juhu residence. On Monday, Dharmendra passed away and was buried in the Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle, which is close to Juhu.

According to the most recent sources, Dharmendra will not get official honors. Given his enormous contributions to Indian cinema, many people are surprised by this decision. His final film, Ikkis, is scheduled for release in December 2025. He has been involved in the cinema industry since his 1960 debut picture, Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere, and continued to do so till his dying days. He starred in more than 300 movies throughout a career that lasted more than 60 years. The Deol family chose not to receive state honors, according to the sources.

Last State Funeral for Actor:

It’s interesting to note that renowned actor Manoj Kumar was the last to receive a state funeral. On April 5, 2025, he was buried in Mumbai with full state honors. His body was covered in the national flag throughout his ceremony, which included a three-gun salute. His outstanding contribution to Indian cinema, particularly his patriotic roles that earned him the epithet ‘Bharat Kumar’, was recognized in the tribute.
