Sharib Hashmi Wife: Actor Sharib Hashmi, known to many as JK Talpade from the hit series The Family Man, has often spoken about how difficult his early journey was. But what he remembers the most from those years is the support of his wife, Nasreen. According to Sharib, she stood by him like a rock and never allowed him to feel alone even when life became extremely hard.
Sharib did not start his career as an actor. He was in a steady job and lived a normal family life. But at the age of 33, he decided to quit everything and chase his dream of acting. This choice brought many challenges. He and Nasreen slowly used up all their savings. When things got worse, they even had to sell their house and jewellery to manage daily expenses. Even during that time, Nasreen never complained or stopped believing in him.
In an interview, Sharib shared that Nasreen had left her job after the birth of their son. But when the family faced a financial crisis, she went back to work. She handled her job and home at the same time so that Sharib could continue auditioning. He says he owes everything to her encouragement and strength.
During his struggle years, Sharib worked in small roles, including brief appearances in Slumdog Millionaire, Haal-e-Dil, and later Jab Tak Hai Jaan, where he played Shah Rukh Khan’s friend. Slowly, as opportunities grew, life began to improve. But at the same time, the family faced another challenge. Nasreen was diagnosed with oral cancer. Even then, she remained positive and brave. After several surgeries, she continued to fight the illness with strong willpower, mainly because she wanted to be there for her children.
Today, Sharib is praised for many roles, including films like Vikram Vedha, Tarla, Scam 1992, Asur, and The Great Indian Murder. He often says that without Nasreen’s sacrifices, he would never have achieved anything in his career. Their journey is a reminder that behind every success story, there is often someone who silently supports, sacrifices, and believes without conditions.
