HBD Sushant Singh Rajput: Remembering The Late Actor On Birth Anniversary. The most celebrated Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was born on 21 January 1986 in Patna. Before getting into the film industry, astrophysics was Sushant’s first interest. Sushant won a National Olympiad in physics and wanted to become an astronaut. Despite doing well in his studies, he was also passionate about acting and a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan.
Sushant started pursuing his passion and was featured as a background dancer in Dhoom 2 and for Aishwarya Rai’s performance on stage. He started his acting debut with the small screen. After playing the second lead role in his debut television show, he was featured as the main lead in his second show, Pavitr Rishta. The show was a huge hit and he has won several awards for his role and performance. Rajput was also a contestant in a dance reality show and emerged as a runner-up.
Sushant made his theatrical debut with ‘Kai Po Che!’ alongside Rajkummar Rao in 2013 after working as an assistant director for Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Raaz 2’. He played a small role in the sensational hit ‘PK’ in 2014. Sushant had a major breakthrough in his career and emerged as a successful actor in Bollywood after playing Dhoni in the biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ in 2016. His other films Shuddh Desi Romance, Sonchiriya, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy were mild hits. However, Sushant received praise for his performance by all the prominent figures in the industry. His second major breakthrough in 2019 was with the comedy-drama ‘Chhichhore’.
On June 14th 2020, the internet was taken by storm after the news of Sushant’s sudden demise broke out. According to the reports the police officials said that it was a suicide. They said the actor was struggling with mental health issues as he was not getting enough opportunities in the industry. Yet, many believe that it was not a suicide but a planned murder. His death has become a huge controversy and shaken the Bollywood for years. The Bollywood industry has never been the same since Sushant’s death.
