Dhurandhar Monday Box office Collection: Aditya Dhar’s latest Ranveer Singh film- Dhurandhar, is transcending average box office collections and is witnessing spectacular theatrical runs. The action-mega thriller produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios is synonymous not just with raging action sequences but also for its turning out to be a great box office grosser and its latest OTT deal with Netflix.
Other than Ranveer, the film boasts of incredible star power in the shape of Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, all in character roles. A certificate has been given to the film with the censor board advising many cuts due to its extreme violence, but the theater has been successful.
Dhurandhar, clocking in at 3 hours and 34 minutes, is made on a budget of ₹280 crore, fantastic opening earned of ₹32.5 crore globally, as per trade pundits like Sacnilk. The India net opening stood at ₹27 crores, and positive word of mouth even helped the movie accelerate further during the weekend, raking in ₹43 crores on Sunday alone.
The all-important opening Monday held firm at ₹23.25 crore net in India. Now standing at ₹193 crore gross worldwide for the film and only a few crores away from entering the straight ₹200-crore club.
The growing popularity of the title track has also contributed to it. The lyrical video was released on the YouTube channel of Saregama Music and blends modern hip-hop with Punjabi elements and gritty cinematic soundscapes. Composed by Shashwat Sachdev and Charanjit Ahuja, with the lines sung by Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Shashwat Sachdev, Mohammad Sadiq, and Ranjit Kaur, the song attests to the raw energy and scale of the film.
For rapper Hanumankind, the film Dhurandhar is his first Bollywood project. His proprietary acquiring blends contemporary rap with old-school desi swagger and thus augments Ranveer Singh’s fierce on-screen presence.
Aditya Dhar is reputed to release “Uri: The Surgical Strike” as his next drama-thriller relating mysterious men. Co-produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, this film has some of the best technical work-from Vikas Noulakh’s cinematography to Shivkumar V. Panicker’s editing.
Thus, with its huge scale, action, and impressive music, Dhurandhar stands out as among the largest Hindi films of the year-in-theatre and now as an on-demand streaming movie via Netflix.
