Dhurandhar – Uri Connection: Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is presently doing well in theaters. Ranveer Singh’s role, an Indian spy infiltrating terror networks in Pakistan, is at the center of the spy drama. Fan theories have started connecting Dhurandhar to Dhar’s 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike as the movie takes center stage in online discussions. In Lyari, Ranveer Singh plays Hamza, an undercover agent selected by Indian intelligence head Ajay Sanyal (R. Madhavan) to join the gang led by Rehman Dakait (Akshaye Khanna).

Dhurandhar X Uri Linked?
A significant plot twist is later revealed in the movie: Ranveer’s character, Hamza, is actually a prisoner named Jaskirat Singh Rangi who was chosen by Ajay Sanyal to oversee the covert operation. A conversation between Vicky Kaushal and Kirti Kulhari’s characters in Uri reveals that her character’s spouse was Captain Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who was killed in combat during an operation. Now that Dhurandhar has been out, the scene with Kirti Kulhari has gone viral. She identifies her late husband in that scenario as Jaskirat Singh Rangi of the Punjab Regiment, who died in the ambush in Naushera Sector.

Fans have been busy making connections between the two characters, arguing that the names couldn’t have been chosen at random.

Due to the introduction of Ranveer Singh’s character Jaskirat Singh Rangi (Hamza) in Uri, Dhurandhar and Uri are related. One admirer said, “He is an Indian spy who infiltrates Pakistan’s underworld to take down a gangster–ISI nexus.”

“Can’t be a coincidence,” another echoed. Aditya Dhar is the director of both movies.
