Forbes India’s 100 Richest: The chairman and managing director of the massive oil-to-telecoms company Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, has maintained his top spot on Forbes’ list of the 100 richest individuals in India. Mukesh Ambani’s net fortune of $105 billion makes him a “centibillionaire.” Ambani, who entered the AI space by founding Reliance Intelligence, stated that he intends to IPO Jio, a telecom company, in 2026.

Debut to Returnees on Forbes India’s 100 Richest 2025:
With a combined fortune of $7.5 billion, the Doshi twins make their first appearance on the list at number 37. Late last year, Waaree Energies, the biggest producer of solar panels in India based on capacity, went public at a 70% premium to its issue price. Sunil Vachani (No. 80, $3.85 billion), the founder and chairman of Dixon Technologies, a company that manufactures a variety of electronic goods for Samsung and Xiaomi, is another newbie.
Leena Tewari (No. 82, $3.8 billion) of USV, P.N.C. Menon (No. 87, $3.6 billion) of Sobha, and K.P. Ramasamy (No. 97, $3.3 billion) of KPR Mill are among the individuals who have returned to the ranks. The cutoff to make the list decreased to $3.2 billion from $3.3 billion the previous year, while seven from the previous year were removed from the ranking.
