Anupama Parameswaran Can’t Stop Praising Dhruv Vikram

Anupama Parameswaran: This undertaking indeed is Mari Selvaraj’s after his critically acclaimed prior film Vaazhai. The movie named Bison- features Dhruv Vikram as the main lead. Highly anticipated among South Indians for its strong sports storyline, Anupama Parameswaran plays the female lead with Dhruv. After the Telugu film Pardha, this marks her comeback. The supporting cast includes Lal and Rajisha Vijayan among others, further adding to the credentials of Pasupathi, Ameer, Aruvi Madan, and Anurag Arora.

Anupama spoke of this during the press launch for the movie. “I would call Dhruv one of the most dedicated actors I have ever worked with. Everybody says the chemistry between us is good, but I would say that credit has to go to Mari Sir and Nivas (the music director) who had a vision, and we were just to follow them”.

She continued, “He started training for Bison almost a year before the movie actually started rolling. He really worked hard. He learned kabaddi, built his body, and pushed just about everything on him physically and mentally- it is such a demanding sport, and he underwent rigid training-not for the film but for actually getting the game right.”

An Actual Sports Drama

In fact, Mari Selvaraj said that while Bison is about kabaddi, it cannot claim to be the biography of any player, including that of Manathi Ganesan.

Anupama said, “I have worked with brilliant people but have never come across anyone as dedicated and disciplined as Dhruv. He is dust or such.

Like such statements from Mari Selvaraj himself, Bison goes on to become one of the most awaited Tamil films of the year.
