Icon Star Allu Arjun’s recent blockbuster action sequel Pushpa 2 : The Rule is unstoppable at the box office, the film becomes the fastest Indian film to gross over Rs 1000 crore. Here’s the exciting updates from the film.

Allu Arjun starrer has officially entered the Rs 1000 crore club with his latest outing, Pushpa 2: The Rule has done pretty well at the box office and it has breached the thousand crore mark.

Interestingly, enough, this new outing from the Pushpa franchise faced affair deal of negativity and hate on social media prior to its release. The rather inconsistent Premier show bookings and dip in momentum a day before the release played detrimental factors for the film ahead of the release.

However, with a reasonably positive word of mouth and the big screen experience, this Allu Arjun and Sukumar directorial action entertainer managed to pull through. The box office trends are ordinary in the Telugu states. The bookings are pretty good in the important Hindi speaking belts. This is pretty much working the deal for Pushpa 2. At this rate, the film good well touch the coveted Rs 1500 crore mark at global box office.

The action entertainer was released worldwide on 5 December 2024 in standard, IMAX, 4DX, D-Box and PVR ICE formats across multiple languages setting several box-office records. With a runtime of 200 minutes, it is one of the longest Indian films ever made.

The film was funded by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the banner Mythri Movie Makers with an estimated budget of Rs 500 crores and grossed more than Rs 1,032 crore worldwide in its first seven days of it’s grand theatrical debut, becoming one of the highest-grossing Indian films, third highest-grossing Telugu film of all time, and the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.
