120 Bahadur Teaser: Farhan Akhtar, who once directed Hrithik Roshan as a soldier in Lakshya, now returns to the big screen as a real-life soldier in his much-awaited film 120 Bahadur. Set during the 1962 Battle of Rezang La, a pivotal moment in the Sino-Indian War, the film tells the story of 120 Indian soldiers who bravely fought against 3,000 Chinese troops. The makers released the film’s trailer on Tuesday. It showcases a powerful narrative of courage, resilience, and sacrifice.
In the teaser, Farhan portrays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati of the Indian Army’s Kumaon Regiment, who led the Indian troops during the battle. He laid down his life in combat and posthumously received the Param Vir Chakra, India’s highest military honor.
The teaser opens with a lieutenant in a hospital questioning a wounded soldier about what unfolded at Rezang La. The visuals then show Chinese forces launching continuous artillery attacks on Indian troops. Despite freezing temperatures that drop to -24 degrees, the Indian soldiers continue their training in harsh conditions. Farhan’s Shaitan Singh appears calm and focused, fully prepared for the impending battle.
