Nithin and Srinu Vaitla Team Up for Upcoming Project

Srinu Vaitla: Actor Nithin is set to collaborate with director Srinu Vaitla for his next film. This time, the project will follow a profit-sharing model, with no fixed remuneration for either the hero or the director. Srinu Vaitla, who has struggled to deliver a hit since Dookudu with Mahesh Babu, faced yet another setback with his recent film Viswam (2024), starring Gopichand and Kavya Thapar, which failed at the box office. Now, all eyes are on his upcoming film with Nithin to see if he can stage a strong comeback.

Nithin – Srinu Vaitla Combo:

Nithin has been delivering back-to-back flops in recent years. His latest releases, Thammudu and Robinhood, carried some expectations but failed at the box office. His last film, which received mixed reviews yet managed modest returns, was Maestro, a remake of the Hindi film Andhadhun. Now, with this new collaboration, both Nithin and director Srinu, who himself has been struggling for a hit for a long time, are hoping for a turnaround. The big question is whether this project can finally bring success to both.

Nithin’s Thammudu Theatrical Response:

Despite having a solid idea and a very powerful lead performance, Thammudu falls short in defining the precise message it wants to get out about itself. The second half adds a little weight, but it’s barely enough because the emotional core is so underdeveloped. A missed chance that neither honors its title nor brings Nithin’s career back to life.
