Ariana Grande is not walking away from music. The pop icon responded strongly to online chatter suggesting she was moving on from her singing career. Fans speculated about a potential exit after Grande leaned heavily into acting and other ventures in 2025.
Taking to Instagram, she cleared the air: “Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing and music!”
Grande insisted that music remains central to her identity. She admitted her career might look different now, but she’s still deeply connected to her craft.
“It may not look exactly like it did before, but I much prefer how it looks in my head,” she wrote. “I’m having fun, I feel grateful, excited, and inspired. “She confirmed plans to perform in 2026: “I’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year even if it’s just for a little.”
Ariana dropped “Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead” in March 2025, adding six new tracks to her seventh studio album. But fans noted she didn’t tour for the album, adding fuel to the speculation.
Despite that, her team confirmed she hasn’t changed lanes. A representative told Variety, “Ariana has always been and continues to be a musician first.”
Grande is juggling multiple commitments. She stars in Wicked: For Good, releasing November 21, and voices a character in the upcoming “Oh, the Places You will Go”. Alongside acting, she runs her beauty brand and remains hands-on with her businesses.
Still, she is focused on building a rhythm that allows space for everything including music. so for now Fans can rest easy – Ariana Grande is not done singing. Not even close
