Chiranjeevi: Megastar Chiranjeevi filed a police complaint regarding deep fake videos of him generated using AI technology. He stated “The fake videos are a direct threat and deliberate violation of my right to privacy, reputation, and dignity, these rights are mine under the Article 21 of the constitution.
Telugu star hero Megastar is mentally affected by his deep fake videos on the internet. He stated that his “dignity, reputation and mental wellbeing is affected by these videos. He filed a police complaint on Saturday.
Chiranjeevi said that these videos are “entirely fabricated” AI-generated and pornographic videos, these videos are damaging his reputation among his long following audience members. In the videos he is shown alongside a woman, she was identified as a Bollywood actress.

What Complaint says
Hyderabad cybercrime police registered his complaint with the Police wing, it read “The unrestricted public accessibility of these videos makes the offence extremely grave and calls for immediate blocking, takedown and digital forensic tracing of those responsible for creating, uploading and circulating this content”.
These videos are being monetised widely across all the minor websites and Major websites, this could indicate an “Organised cybercrime network aimed at commercial gain” his complaint read.
What Chiranjeevi said
Chiranjeevi argued that “These videos are being used to portray me in obscene and vulgar contexts, thereby distorting public perception and undermining decades of goodwill. These videos affect me and my family members on a very emotional level, thus causing mine and their mental health to be affected very badly”.
