Diljit Dosanjh Walks Out of No Entry Sequel?

Diljit Bows Out of Sequel?

Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly stepped away from the much-awaited sequel to the hit comedy No Entry. He was initially cast alongside Arjun Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, but new reports suggest his packed global tour schedule made it difficult for him to commit. Fans were excited to see Diljit bring his comic timing to the ensemble, but with his upcoming Aura Tour set for late October through mid-November, scheduling conflicts seem to have ended his involvement.

Tour Dates vs Shoot Dates

The upcoming Aura Tour will take Diljit to Australia and New Zealand between October 26 and November 13. The sequel, however, requires extensive prep, blocking, and shoot commitments and something that couldn’t align with his current calendar.

A source close to the development shared that both parties came to the decision amicably. “Diljit’s tour was a major commitment, and the production couldn’t wait any longer. It was a mutual and respectful parting of ways,” the insider said.

No Entry : A Fresh Start, But With Regrets

The film’s producer confirmed that the entire cast of the original No Entry has been replaced. He admitted that while the younger cast brings new energy, the team will always miss the original trio, Salman, Anil, and Fardeen. “We waited for almost 8 to 10 years, hoping to bring the original stars back. But time slipped away,” he reflected. “The train has moved on, and we’re now going ahead with a new setup. But yes, the regret of not having the original team will always stay.”

All Eyes on the Revamped Sequel

Despite Diljit’s exit and the absence of the original cast, the film is moving forward with a younger ensemble. While fans may be disappointed, the team hopes to bring a new twist to the beloved comedy with fresh faces and fresh energy.
