Venky Atluri recently announced in an interview that there will definitely be a sequel to the film. Atluri also said in the same interview that his other successful film, Sir starring Dhanush, will not have a sequel. Meanwhile, movie lovers will have to wait for a while for Lucky Bhaskar 2. Venky Atluri is currently busy shooting for the film starring Suriya.
The film, which is yet to be titled, has been tentatively titled Suriya 46. This is the 46th film in Suriya’s career. The shooting of the film began on June 9. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments, a leading banner in Telugu, in association with Fortuna Cinemas. The pooja ceremonies of the film were held on May 19. Mamita Baiju is the heroine of the film.
Venky Atluri is bringing back the editor and cinematographer of his last film Lucky Bhaskar this time too. The film, which is being shot by Nimish Ravi, is being edited by Naveen Nooli. Suriya hopes that this film will be the end of his string of failures in his career.
Meanwhile, Lucky Bhaskar can be watched on Netflix. Apart from Telugu, the film is also being streamed in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
