DYK Apoorva Earns ₹2.5 Lakh/Day With THIS Type of Content?

Apoorva Mukhija, who is more popular online as The Rebel Kid, has established herself as one of India’s most significant digital artists. She is well-known for her empathetic storytelling and fearless, unrepentant content, but lately, her profits have made headlines. She makes about Rs 2.5 lakh a day, according to Business Today reports, from her marketing ads, reality show appearances, and humorous videos. Although there was some debate, this news went viral.

A recent social media post by an IIT alumnus has sparked a heated online discussion over the divergent paths of social media stardom and traditional education. A user on X with the moniker @digitalsangghi published the now-viral post.

Apoorva Mukhija Monthly Earnings:

The user describes, in the article, the personal costs of cracking India’s toughest engineering exam. They detail the struggle to get into the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and then endure six years of academic pressure, mental stress, and placement anxiety.

“Gave up home, friends, cousins, sleep, and dreams,” the post states. “Studied 14 hours a day to clear India’s most difficult engineering entrance exam. I got into IIT. Then came 4+2 years of CGPA nightmares, lab viva trauma, and constant tension about placements.” Even after all that, the user adds, the reality remains disappointing. “Today? I am unknown to even 100 individuals.”

Take a look at the post:

A social media user compared the struggles of an IIT aspirant with the success of Apoorva Mukhija, who reportedly earns Rs 2.5 lakh a day by creating Instagram reels and has built a Rs 41 crore empire. Business Today recently featured her story, highlighting her rise as a digital content creator. The user pointed out that reels with BC-MC as fillers, semi-nudes, red lipstick, and bold language seem enough to build a massive online empire. They ended the post sarcastically, saying, “The world is fair.”

Many users criticized the post for drawing such a comparison between two entirely different career paths. One user responded, “You studied 14 hours a day for IIT, cracked the exam, and will now land a good job, you chased and achieved your goal. Well done. But she also chased her dream of stardom and likely worked hard for it. It’s unfair to compare both journeys.”

Others echoed the same sentiment, calling the comparison illogical and dismissive of the effort that goes into content creation. Apoorva Mukhija recently appeared on Karan Johar’s reality show, The Traitors, which is based on themes of trust and betrayal. The show was shot at the grand Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer.
