Kannappa in Losses: Manchu Vishnu’s recent film Kannappa has reportedly incurred major losses. According to sources, the film is being labeled as one of the biggest flops in recent times. Over the past few years, Manchu Vishnu has struggled to deliver a successful film, with none of his recent projects making a mark at the box office.

With high hopes, Manchu Vishnu launched Kannappa with one of the biggest budgets of his career and a star-studded cast. Despite these positives, he failed to deliver a film that connected with audiences. Even though the film failed to capture the audience’s attention early on, Vishnu played his cards smartly by bringing on board top stars like Mohanlal, Prabhas, and Akshay Kumar to increase its national reach. However, even with this impressive cast, the film performed poorly at the box office. Internal sources reveal that Kannappa grossed around ₹42 crore worldwide, yet it ended up becoming a major theatrical failure.

Reportedly, Manchu Vishnu is now attempting to recover some of the losses by selling the film’s OTT and satellite rights. While most platforms aren’t offering a favorable deal, sources say he is trying to raise some additional funds to reduce the damage. Following this setback, Manchu Vishnu is said to be looking for a strong producer to back his next film in hopes of a comeback. Although most producers remain hesitant, he continues to make efforts to get his next project off the ground.
