Varanasi: Super star Mahesh Babu and maverick director SS Rajamouli are making a film together, it is scheduled to release next year end or so, nothing has been confirmed yet. Recently makers revealed that the first look and title of the film will be revealed in November. Now, the internet is buzzing that the film is titled “Varanasi”. 

Previous rumored titles

A while back there were reports that the film is titled as ‘Maharaja’, then it is named as Gen63, Globetrotter. But, nothing has been official but a mere speculation. We need to wait until November to find out.

Shooting schedules

SSMB 29 unit recently shot in Kenya and African countries for a big action sequence. Now, the film’s unit is currently prepping for another big schedule. Rumors suggest that this time they will capture a couple of songs. 

Why Africa?

Rajamouli and his team chose Africa because of its rugged locations, the film is an adventure action film. For this kind of genre the locations can be perfect. The more spacious landscapes and more vast terrains can look big on screen. 

SSR said this about the film

When asked Rajamouli about the idea of the film, he simply said in a couple of words that it is a big idea. Well, we know what that means, he further said that Mahesh babu has the capacity to capture the global audience, so he chose action adventure genre and the story happens across the globe. So if the film is titled ‘Varanasi’ then it revolves around the sacred scriptures or something else entirely. 

Can the global goal be achievable

So Rajamouli is saying from the start that this film is going to be a great globetrotting adventure. The main goal of the film is to bank the international glory created by RRR before. He is making sure that the film will reach and satisfy the international audience.
