Kota Srinivas Rao Death: He has passed away, and a vacuum has been created. Over four decades, veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao enjoyed marking his own turf in the Indian cinema. Blessed with such a powerful voice and richer eyes, impeccable dialogue delivery that arrested the audience’s concentration through performances spanning from serious villain roles to memorable comic characters, death has left a void in many hearts of film buffs across South India.
Kota began his acting in the 1970s, became famous, and finally became a well-known name with credit for over 700 films. Although he is best known for Telugu films, he has acted in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema as well. He has become iconic through Aha Naa Pellanta, Pratighatana, Gaayam, Sarkar, etc. His ease in flicking from serious roles to funny ones makes him the most regarded character actor in Indian cinema.
Though perhaps, not so ostentatious with his riches, Kota Srinivasa Rao has been termed financial well-off because of the never-ending work in the industry. His net worth would be placed between ₹40-50 crores, earned from movies, running television shows, endorsements, and public speaking. He had also raised above medium stature as an Actor-MLA from Vijayawada East.
