Dhanush’s Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula and co-starring Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna, has emerged as a solid winner at the box office. Since its theatrical release on June 20, 2025, the socio-political drama has earned over ₹100 crore worldwide. While fans are excited about an early OTT release, there’s growing speculation about whether the makers of Kuberaa are truly happy with this shift. An early digital drop might preserve viewership numbers online but could hurt long-term box office performance and revenue sharing with distributors.
