Now, in an interview, producer Namit Malhotra has reacted to the film. Namit Malhotra said that Ramayana was never intended to be just an Indian film. Since the day the film was started, it has been a global film. It is not trying to please only the people of India. Instead, he added that it should speak to everyone like any other film.
Ramayana is the most anticipated film in Indian cinema. In Ramayana, which is being made on a big canvas, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita. Earlier, there were reports that Ramayana is being made on a budget of Rs 1,600 crore. But blowing all these away, producer Namit Malhotra announced that the production cost of the movie is more than 4000 crores. This is the budget for both parts of the movie. Ramayana has also surpassed the budget of Hollywood movies Jurassic World Rebirth and Superman. Jurassic World’s budget is $ 180 million. Superman’s is reportedly $ 225 million.
