Mouni Roy’s Badmaash: What’s Inside the Actress Trendy Restaurant

Mouni Roy’s Badmaash:
Mouni Roy is a well-known actor who became popular on Indian television through shows like Mahadev and Naagin. Along with acting in films and doing brand promotions, she has also entered the restaurant business. Her restaurant brand Badmaash now has multiple outlets in big cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata.

Mouni Roy’s Badmaash:

Badmaash attracts attention for its eye-catching interiors. The design is inspired by a jungle theme, with green plants and bright colours decorating the walls and ceiling. The seating and lighting give a fun and energetic dining experience. People who visit often share photos because the place looks modern and creative.

The menu at Badmaash includes many Indian dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. The prices usually range from Rs 300 to Rs 800. Traditional sweets like Gulab Jamun and Shahi Tukda are priced around Rs 410. The restaurant also provides Jain-friendly choices like Tomato Tulsi Shorba and Palak Nariyal Shorba.

One of the most unique items is the Avocado Bhel priced at Rs 395. It is a special twist on the famous street food jhalmuri. Mouni loves both avocado and jhalmuri, so she combined them into this signature snack. The menu also lists simple favourites like Masala Peanuts, Masala Papad, Sev Puri, and Crispy Corn priced near Rs 295. Seafood lovers can enjoy prawn dishes that cost around Rs 795.

The drinks menu includes a special beverage named Mounilicious that costs Rs 695. It is made with gin, cucumber, kiwi, lemon, elderflower, and sparkling water. Mouni has said that she does not enjoy sweet desserts, so this drink was created for her taste. It is refreshing without being sugary.

Mouni entered the hospitality field with the support of her husband Suraj Nambiar and his close friends who run VRO Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. She always imagined owning a café because she enjoyed relaxing in cafés during her travels. Today, her dream has grown into a chain of restaurants across India.

Mouni believes Indian food deserves more stylish and high-quality spaces. Through Badmaash, she hopes to offer guests good taste, comfort, and a lively atmosphere where food becomes a joyful experience.
