Nidhi Agerwal Breaks Silence on Government Car Controversy

Nidhi Agerwal Responds to Social Media Storm

Actress Nidhi Agerwal has finally addressed the growing controversy surrounding a viral video that showed her arriving at a store launch in Vijayawada in a vehicle believed to be owned by the Andhra Pradesh government. The clip quickly sparked online outrage, with users questioning why a film star was using a government-issued car for a commercial event.

In a public statement, Nidhhi clarified

“The event organisers arranged the vehicle for my travel. I was not aware of who owned it. The claim that it was sent by a government official is false and baseless.”

Her explanation came after days of speculation, especially considering her recent association with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, with whom she stars in the upcoming Telugu film Hari Hara Veera Mallu.

Why the Video Sparked Controversy

The video, which surfaced online earlier this week, showed Nidhi stepping out of a black SUV that reportedly carried government markings. Critics immediately accused her of receiving “VIP treatment” and questioned whether government resources were being misused for celebrity appearances.

The timing added to the tension, as Pawan Kalyan, also a film star turned politician, plays a major role in her upcoming movie. Social media users speculated whether her association with him had anything to do with the use of the vehicle.

“No Political Ties,” Says Actress

Nidhi emphasized that she has no political affiliations and urged the public not to believe social media rumors. She stressed that her appearance at the event was purely professional and had no link to any political figure or party.
