Nishaanchi Trailer: Anurag Kashyap is Back?

Nishaanchi Trailer: Renowned Indie filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is returning to the director’s chair after a brief acting stint. He wrote and directed a new film titled “Nishaanchi”, which stars newcomers Aaishvary Thackeray, Vedika Pinto, along with Monica Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Aayub, and Kumund Mishra. Amazon MGM Studios is producing it, and they are releasing the film in theatres on September 19th.

Anurag came out of Mumbai

Anurag is a filmmaker who craves originality and authenticity in films; his films often have realistic narratives laced with humor and out-of-the-box character reactions to a situation. This, along with his dialogues, which are often hailed as the best in the business, has been his trademark for a long time. But, his filmography has only a few commercial hits, which labeled him as an art and indie filmmaker who doesn’t care about the film business.

He, in recent media interactions, said that he moved out of Mumbai to Bangalore. The reason he gave was “everyone in Bollywood is only talking about numbers, they are not discussing the film and its material at all.” This did not align with his vision, and he said he couldn’t take it anymore, so he respectfully moved out of Mumbai and started concentrating on his writing.
