Pawan Kalyan Box Office Report: Power Star Pawan Kalyan has tasted a bit of both worlds in recent years’. From courtroom drama to historical action movies, every film of his creates huge buzz even before its release. So how much did they really make at the box office?
Hari Hara Veera Mallu (2025): Much expected historical movie which did not turn out well on the boxes, thereby not living up to expectations.
By now, all eyes will be on They Call Him OG. The gangster action drama is already allegedly buzzing before its release. Massive pre-release business reports from the Telugu states amount to over ₹135 crore, maybe much more. Numbers overseas are impressive – North America premiere sales alone have crossed ₹13 crore, making it one of his biggest international openings ever.
For OG to become the highest grosser for Pawan Kalyan, it has to cross the benchmark set by Bheemla Nayak (₹158 crore). Given the sky-high advance bookings, strong word of mouth could easily push it beyond his previous records. However, as seen with Hari Hara Veera Mallu, hype doesn’t always guarantee success. Sustaining momentum after the first weekend is the real test.
