Narayana Murthy Supports Chiranjeevi:
A small controversy started recently in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly between two Tollywood stars, Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. The discussion began when MLA Kamineni Srinivas made a comment about an incident that happened three years ago. At that time, some Tollywood actors met the then Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Chiranjeevi reportedly faced some disrespect during that meeting. Srinivas said Chiranjeevi asked strongly, and only then did the CM respond. Balakrishna strongly opposed this statement, saying it was not true and no one had asked the CM forcefully.
After Balakrishna’s comments, actor and director R Narayana Murthy spoke up. He fully supported Chiranjeevi and said that what Chiranjeevi mentioned was 100% correct. Murthy added that he was also present during the meeting with CM Jagan. He said the government did not disrespect anyone, and Chiranjeevi ensured the meeting went smoothly. According to Murthy, the CM treated everyone with respect, and Chiranjeevi played an important role in solving the issues.
R Narayana Murthy also expressed concern about the film industry. He said that movie ticket prices should not increase because films are the main source of entertainment for common people. Raising ticket rates can make it difficult for average viewers and affect smaller producers. He appealed to both state governments to involve film chambers and producer councils to understand and solve industry problems.
This incident shows how even small disagreements between famous personalities can get public attention. Tollywood stars have a strong influence in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, so their comments often spark debates among fans and the media. Observers say that such controversies are not only about words but can also have political implications.
In the end, R Narayana Murthy’s response clarified the situation and supported Chiranjeevi’s statements. He urged the industry and governments to focus on the welfare of both actors and movie viewers, keeping the entertainment industry healthy and accessible to all.
