Ravi Teja’s father, Bhupathiraju Rajagopal Raju, passed away on Monday night at the age of 90. He breathed his last at the actor’s residence in Hyderabad. Rajagopal Raju, a retired government employee, was known to keep a low profile despite his son’s stardom.
The news has shocked the family and close circles, with condolences pouring in from the film industry. Ravi Teja has a film, “Mass Jathara,” slated for release on August 27th, with some dubbing and shoot portions still pending. Fans are hoping he finds the strength to cope with the personal loss and return to work in time.

Rajagopal breathed his last at Ravi Teja’s residence in Hyderabad on Tuesday night. His last rites will be performed today after 3 pm. Rajagopal, a native of Jaggampet in East Godavari district, worked as a pharmacist. Due to his job, he spent most of his time in North India. Due to this, Ravi Teja’s schooling was done in ‘Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai, and Bhopal’. Therefore, Ravi Teja learned different accents and cultures from a young age. Many in the industry say that this brought uniqueness to his acting.
