Shah Rukh Khan Reveals Key Detail from Upcoming Film

The news about the latest film directed by Siddharth Anand starring Shah Rukh Khan has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Fans are waiting for an official announcement from the makers and the actors regarding the film. However, several updates about the cast and shooting updates of the film have already been released. Now, Shah Rukh Khan has shared an important update about the film.

When fans asked about his upcoming project during the popular #AskSRK session on X, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed that his next film is definitely ‘King’. ‘When is your next film releasing? Is it King or some other film?’ was the question of a fan. ‘Just King….you must have heard this name’ was Shah Rukh’s reply.

‘When is your next film coming out?’ was the question of another fan. Shah Rukh once again hinted that Siddharth Anand is busy with the film King. “A little bit of shooting has been done… the rest of the shooting will start soon. Only leg shots, then we will move on to the upper body…. Insha Allah, it will be completed soon. Siddharth Anand is working hard for this,” ShahRukh Khan added.

Last month, there were many reports that Shah Rukh Khan was injured on the sets of Siddharth Anand’s film King. Although the injury is not serious, the latest reports indicate that the film’s schedule has been delayed and the shooting will resume this September. King is an action thriller.

Shah Rukh Khan is also acting in this film with his daughter Suhana Khan, who made her acting debut with The Archies (2023). It is reported that many stars including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Varma and many others will be joining the cast of King. The makers are trying to release the film in theaters between October and December 2026.
