Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep is celebrating his 52nd birthday today, September 2. Known for his powerful presence across Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema, Sudeep continues to win hearts on and off screen. On his special day, fans and friends have flooded social media with love and warm wishes.
Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty took to X (formerly Twitter) to wish his friend and co-star. “Kiccha… Wishing you a Happy happy birthday. To more wins, more calm, more strength. Always rooting for you,” he wrote. The two actors share a warm bond and mutual respect, having worked together on various projects over the years.
Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka DK Shivakumar also posted a heartfelt tribute. “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the gem of the Kannada film industry, the emperor of acting, actor Sudeep,” he wrote. He wished the actor good health and a long life, adding that Sudeep’s continued service to Kannada cinema is deeply appreciated.
Earlier, ahead of his birthday, Kiccha Sudeep appealed to his fans to show restraint and celebrate with sensitivity. He urged them not to visit his home or gather in large numbers outside his residence. Instead, he encouraged fans to channel their goodwill into acts of kindness, such as helping those in need or supporting local charities. The actor said that true celebration lies in spreading positivity and making a difference.

The actor is gearing up for his next big release, Billa Ranga Baasha, directed by Anup Bhandari. Set in the year 2209, the futuristic film shows Sudeep in a fierce new avatar in snowy, action-packed settings. He is also starring in Mark, a high-octane action thriller directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa. Industry insiders expect it to be one of the biggest releases of 2025.
